Dooley seems to be a normal teenager but always has something bad happening in his life. For one, his mother has appeared in his life, then in no time, she was gone-for good. His girlfriend (Beth) is very mad at him, all because she found out that Dooley's mom has died and he never told her. His uncle gets arrested for the murder of Lorraine (Dooley's mother), but it doesn't say yet if he did or didn't do it.
Dooley and his girlfriend have a strong relationship. Every time hes with her, he doesn't think about the problems in his life. He relies on her, whenever he doesn't work he calls her, asks her to go to the library with him, and asks her if he can come over after school.
Without Beth do you think Dooley would go back to his old life?

Without Beth I do think Dooley would go back to his old life. It seems like she means everything to him and that she is the only thing he thinks about when he is with her. And yes I do think everyone relies on someone to lean on because everyone has there parents for one thing. You might also have a cousin, gf/bf or just a best friend to always be there for you.
ReplyDeletewith or with out Beth it doesn't mean he will go back to the way he was. He may relie on her, but there can be other people he can relie on as well, friends, family, teacher. Not everyone has to have someone to relie on, people can fend for themselves.
ReplyDeleteI dont think Dooley would go back his normal life without Beth just beacuse he turns to beth when things are bad or he needs help. I think that everyone has someone to turn to even if you known it or not there is someone there for you.
ReplyDeleteYes i think that he will go back to his old life without Beth. Yes i do think that everyone could use a shoulder to lean on for any kind of support through hard times. People need to be able to express themselves when things build up to that certain point.
ReplyDeleteWithout Beth, I do belive that Dooley would go back to his old life because he wouldn't have anyone to rely on. Everyone needs someone to lean on for extra support and as a listener of their problems. Beth is basically keeping DOoley out of trouble.
